Back in the late 90's, I had a gig every Thursday thru Saturday with a trio that almost always consisted of Justin Varnes on drums and Todd "Grits" Grunder on the bass. We were at the now-defunct Martini's restaurant on 53rd and 7th, and we played our version of a guitar-based Ahmad Jamal trio. It was a lot of fun, and I learned a lot.

These were all recorded to an old Sony MiniDisc recorder, then transferred to cassette tapes, then transferred back into a computer from a USB cassette deck. Hi-Lo-Lo-Hi Fi, baby...
